Present, never intrusive
I'm paying attention all day, but I'm never the center of it. You'll know I'm there when you need me, and you'll forget I'm there when you don't.
When you choose me to photograph your wedding, I don't take that lightly.
You're trusting me with a day you've pictured for years, and with the photographs that will outlast the flowers, the cake, and the dress. Your wedding happens once. I give it the weight it deserves.
I see my role as a steward. The day belongs to you, but for a while it's placed in my care, and I intend to take care of it well. I want you to feel good before the wedding, during it, and long after: confident in the plan, at ease in front of the camera, and moved every time you open your gallery.
Plenty of photographers will show up, take good pictures, and send a link. I want to offer more than that: more care, more preparation, and more of myself. The rest of this page shows you what that looks like.
First Mile Service
I believe your photographer should be dependable, professional, and easy to work with from the moment you inquire until your final gallery is delivered. These aren't the extras. They're the Loerop Photography Standards.
Your questions get thoughtful answers quickly, so you're never left wondering.
You'll always know what's included, what happens when, and what comes next.
I arrive with time to spare, so your day starts calm instead of rushed.
Timelines, locations, and backup plans are worked out long before your wedding day.
I help keep things moving, so the day flows and you can simply enjoy it.
Your finished gallery arrives within four weeks, while the day is still fresh.
Second Mile Service
The Loerop Photography Standards are the first mile, the things every couple can count on. Silk Ribbon Service™ is the second: the care I bring beyond what's promised, woven quietly through your whole day. You won't find it on a checklist, and that's the point. It's my way of going above and beyond to create a truly magical experience.
Discover Silk Ribbon Service™From your first message to your wedding morning, here is how we get ready together.
Send me your date and venue. I'll reply quickly to let you know if I'm available, and we'll find a time to talk.
A relaxed conversation about your plans, your priorities, and what matters most to you in your photographs.
A signed agreement and a retainer make it official. From that moment, your date is held for you and no one else.
In the months ahead, we work through your timeline, locations, and family photo list, so nothing on the day is left to chance.
The best wedding photography doesn't pull you out of your own day. Here is how I work so it never does.
I'm paying attention all day, but I'm never the center of it. You'll know I'm there when you need me, and you'll forget I'm there when you don't.
I'm there before the first photograph needs taking, and I stay until the last one is made. Coverage runs the whole day, so I never pack up while something is still happening.
During portraits and family photographs, I take the lead. I find the light, tell you exactly where to stand, and keep things moving so you can get back to your guests.
The rest of the day, I let it unfold. The ceremony, the toasts and the dance floor belong to you, and I photograph them as they happen, without asking anyone to perform for the camera.
Every gallery I deliver holds three types of photographs: Art, the directed portraits made for your walls; Story, the candid record of how your day moved; and Legacy, the family photographs that get passed down. Most galleries are strong in one and thin on the other two. I shoot for all three, at every wedding.
Tell me your date and your venue, and I will let you know if the calendar is open.
